Sun arise (but I don't)

$20 for the lake view is a bargain! Despite sitting up late planning my traverls for the next few days I woke at 7 just as the sun was painting the sky. All my life I've read that dawn is supposed to be as pretty as sunset but this is the first time I've ever seen one that was really worth being awake for! Stripes of cloud across the mountains paralleled the lake and the sky and over to one side the sky went from red to pink to gold. Lovely! And then as I have a way early morning tomorrow and this bitty cold I went back to bed and slept myself out.

I won't write down my nightmare because I don't want to remember it but I did like the bits of my dream where I did a long interview with bill gates and steve ballmer until they started tearing apart my macro programming style and then it turned into a comic where I saved the world from the worshippers of the monkey devil by making them say 'oh' which symbolised such pleasure they evaporated (it was a comic because 1 the art was stylised 2 I could see the speech bubbles and at one point the page grid and gutters!)

That'll teach me to go back to sleep with an electric blanket on!
