How far south, Mary?

Te Anau is the furthest south I've stayed so far: the trip to Doubtful Sound tomorrow goes down as far as Manapouri and I think Dunedin is a little further down still, but I've definitely crossed the 45th parallel, half way from the equator to the South Pole!

Am very tempted to go the rest of the way as the girls I've been travelling with on and off the last couple of days have a friend who's been on a (non-scientific) trip there so it's at least possible. Not this trip I think, though!
