The perfect Valentine film

It has to be romantic for women and action for men; it has to have conflict for drama and a happy ending and humour and (for me to like it) snark. Simon suggests if they were to film Agnes and the Hitman or Don't Look Now, that would be perfect; I think some of the best Georgette Heyer would film well (Cottillion with Your Favourite Tasty Actor as Jack - Ewan McGregor perhaps, and Renee Zellwegger or Keira Knightley or whoever, either Colin Firth or Hugh Grant (in gormless mode) as Freddy; Tim McInnery would do very well as Dolphinton and I think Bill Nighy would be superb as Penicuik the miser - there is enough 'shallow female gains depth' for chick lit, enough rake for eye candy and plenty of comedy for romcom). But of the movies that exist *outside* my head, I think Mr and Mrs Smith is closest to the perfect Valentine film and very soon we may go and watch it again.
