The darkest of humours

My sense of humour is somewhere between midnight and interstellar black. And my default reaction is hands to the wheel, don't give up. I've always thought the Rolling Stone quote about Susy Bright fits me (could not be accused of shutting up) but it could just as well be 'could not be accused of giving up'. So when we discovered the Jeffster's 'abscess' wasn't going down on the third set of antibiotics because it's an osteosarcoma (and the x-ray shows he has lovely bones and that when you x-ray his chest, he curls his tail under his tum to give a complete edging of vertebrae), amputation rather than euthenasia was pretty much my immediate choice.

And it struck me last night, stroking him as he lolled on the bed, that whenever  have seen Jeffreoy with all his legs together rather than stretched out in the 180-degree Maine Coon Twist (as in my user icon) , that I have thought he has too many legs.

Fingers, toes and paws crossed... My careless side expects him to be back on he roof by the end of the week, giving sbisson palpitations.
