Awake and sniffling

The first cold I had on the road cleared up but the last day before we left I started getting a scratchy throat - apologies if I gazed straight past anyone at Graphing Social Patterns but the beginnings of the cold were hitting me. The flight back was OK - I blew all my miles on getting us upgraded so I could sleep and if I was tossing and turning in a flat bed, sleeping upright would have been murder. The Interview we went straight off to was good, the event we went out to was good, I even had the energy to do some cleanup back at the flat and we had a fun meal at Wong Kei with Ian & Ian but this morning I was bunged up and miserable. I slept most of the day, waking only to chat to the nice PR who dropped off a new tablet to test and after an episode of The Closer I am ready to fall down go sniffle again. My sinuses appear to be full of epoxy. This means I will not be off to Jersey tomorrow as I fancy neither the flying nor the handing out of my cold to the family. Anyone with a cast iron immune system who wants to pop by and say 'gosh you look awful' will be very welcome any day after noon ;-)
