If they build the library, it might not be that big

Far too many of the scrolls in the library of Alexandria ended up in heating furnaces so it's nice to see Egypt trying to build a new library, complete with a copy of the Internet Archive. And it looks like we're a step closer to molecular storage with researchers at Oklahoma University storing a 1024-bit image in a liquid crystal molecule using radio waves. A tenth of a second isn't quite long enough for backups though ;-)
