pease pudding HOT

well, porridge, anyway; when I was stirring it in the jug a tiny blob splashed onto the inside of my wrist and made the nastiest small burn I've had in a while. I think the wet gelatious nature of the gloop made it an efficient heat pack. Cold water didn't help so I slathered on some Weleda Combudoron Gel that we brought back from NZ. I love this stuff; it's got arnica and echinacea and aloe vera and nettle and you slather it on and it dries like an extra skin. You get the pleasure of peeling off afterwards and it's fabulous for sandfly bites. Next time Simon gets eaten by a horsefly it's what I'll use.

I also swear by Weleda Meliisa comp for upset stomachs and foul hangovers

Weleda (UK) has an online store; that could be handy!
